 Scene Europe

Ms Britannia tears away at herself with anguish,

Burns within stomach and cries out for her children...

Yet so much is there still in which to languish

And to give hungering children of others.

         ************

Ms Iberia seemed so fine and free

And I did celebrate with her with glee.

 Now she is overly stretched with family shaken

Though surely not forsaken.

      ************

Next act of opera dripping with Greece

Fills with Italian aria,

But who knows the last act or when?

                  Grand Lady

You have your life span,

Retirement should you be so lucky.

You have your heart's plan

Beyond layered material or decoration:

The human working band;

The memories of location, adventure, adoration...

Pulsating and humming,

Spiritual beyond propulsion.

Grand Lady, MV Cruise Ship will voyage the seas of recall.
